It has 3M PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) on the back. The overall dimensions are approximately 38.25 inches long by 3.5 inches wide. The material is 6mm thick and comes with a horizontal grain textured surface. These rulers are ready to ship. ***Important**** This is information based off our extensive use an handling of PE/EVA foam at Wildcard Concepts. From the far left edge of the first vertical mark underneath "0" to the far right edge of the last vertical mark under "36" you will notice it measures a distance slightly more than 36 inches. THIS IS DONE ON PURPOSE. Between cold and hot temperature changes, ALL EVA foam will expand and contract. As far as we can tell, our rulers are the only ones to expect and attempt to compensate for this fact.
